Cardboard house
I havent done a search if this has been discussed before. Does anyone have any info about this. Does it cone set up or should it be assembled? And is it sturdy enough to decorate with normal SF furniture.
Oops sorry here is the right one

Re: Cardboard house
i used to have two of these but i sold them on ebay years ago. they come flat and you have to put them together. you can put furniture in them but they arent as study as a real house, so you cant put as much in upstairs, if that makes sense.

Re: Cardboard house
Thanks Kirsty, Im always considering other options for housing.
What is an acceptable price to pay, do you think. And is the assembly easy?

Re: Cardboard house
fairly easy from what i can remember. i brought them in 2001, so ages ago! i wouldnt pay more than £5 for one as you could get a proper house for not alot more second hand.

Re: Cardboard house
The carrot house is like a small pillow. You can open it (it's got a velcro strip to close the two halves) and put two figures inside, which are then visible through the little window. I guess it's for kids to carry around their favourite figures. The inside has some furniture depicted on it, the figures lie in a "bed".
I didn't like it when I bought it recently, it was too fat, like a proper pillow, so I sold it again.

Re: Cardboard house
I like the Carrot House just for a decoration. It's really not usable for much but it's cute.
I have never wanted a cardboard house. It doesn't seem that they would work very well.
