Re: Silvan Animal Families - Review of a Knock-off

My friend always jokes about Sylvanian wolves. He says "Sylvania was full of critters until the Wolves moved in. Then it became suspiciously quiet..."

I think Wolves would be a welcome addition to the line - they have bears emoticon

They have cats which are far more likely to eat little mice and squirrels and hamster and rabbits and ducks than bears.

And foxes....which like ducky eggs.

And owls who eat mice...

And dogs who will hunt just about anything...

LOL.

I still want to see more "exotic" animals. Wolves are nice, but I would really like to see some bison!

Oooh, buffalos would be cute! And then they could do a rare white buffalo set (probably exclusive to Japan or something because that's how they roll). White buffalos are considered sacred by several cultures, if I recall correctly.

What about lions? It doesn't seem any more farfetched than elephants.

I considered zebras briefly, but they're too close to the horses, who aren't real people apparently. Why is it that the Sylvanians themselves are animals, but it's okay to have enslave the horses? This seriously bothers me. THROW OFF YOUR CHAINS OF SLAVERY, IVY AND BLACKSOCKS! REVOLT! TAKE YOUR FREEDOM! *giggles*
