Little school with dog teacher

I finally got grip of myself and took photos of my little school (JP).

Image

I had wanted this set for a loooong time and when I finally found it from all99 I was superhappy. But when it arrived it was kind of a dissapointment emoticon The school is as perfect as I had waited, but the dog teacher is horrible!

He is totally a second class figure. The flocking is sticky, hard to touch and smells odd. The package has peeled off a lot of flocking from the back of his years. And more will fall off if you are not extra carefull. Here is a picture:

I have a jp brown dog sister and she is as lovely as any other SF-figure so I am wondering why this dog teacher is so hideous? Does any of you have the same problem with this set?

Another dissapointment was the stickers that came with the set. The covers of the books had to be glued down. They kept on peeling off otherwise. I just noticed that a schoolschedule-sticker has also sterted to curl up. I don't now what to do with it as I don't want to glue it to the wall.

But the schoolhouse-building is really nice. There is room for two children-sized pupils or three baby-pupils.

That stinks that your figure is so bad! emoticon

Maybe you can find a thin piece of plastic for the schedule sticker. You could adhere the sticker to the plastic and just tape it to the wall. That way you can always take it down.

Sorry to hear about your bad figure.

I've had at least 4 of this exact same set through my hands at various times over the years and I've never gotten a teacher figure that had any issues (nor have I had any issues with stickers).

Unfortunately, I think you were the unlucky one and got a bad set. It may be worth it to contact all99 and ask if you can get a partial refund.

Or maybe you can pick up one of those discounted Maron dog mothers at Behappy's budget corner and do a clothing switcheroo to create a better teacher.

I had the same problem with my dog teacher :/ The flocking had melted off onto the packaging. I got mine from BeHappy, and they were kind enough to offer me a mother maron dog to do a clothing switcharoo with. The mother dog mold is slightly different though, it's lighter and has a chubbier face.

As for the stickers, I've always had problems with Sylvanian Families stickers when they had to go around a curved surface. They always peeled off! I had to super glue all of the stickers from my bakery onto the cans and bottles.

You can always glue the notice board sticker onto a piece of cardstock and then cut around the sticker with a craft knife. Then you can use blu tac or a light dab of water based glue (light so it doesn't wrinkle the paper!) on the back of the cardstock to stick it to the board. Both ways give you the option to remove the notice board whenever you want.

All99 still lists the father maron dog as in stock, it would be nice if they send it to you as compensation. link

The school looks really nice. It's great to see that it can be used for children-sized pupils and/or baby-pupils.

Thank you for all your advice! I send a message to all99-shop and told them about the figure. We will see what they respond.

all9's customerservice is really amazing! They will check from their ware house for another dog teacher for me. If all of them are ruined like my figure I will obtain the ochre dog father emoticon I am so happy! (I even ordered some other figures to come with the teacher emoticon)

I was always pleased with all99's e-mail responses until this week. I was working on an order with Pearly from all99 last week, and she told me that she'd e-mail me back early this week with a shipping cost and I'm still waiting. I understand that maybe something happened to slow up the process at the warehouse or whatever, but I can't beleive that Pearly didn't e-mail me with an explanation; I was thinking that maybe she was away or something had happened to her, but if you, Toukkero, got a message from them I guess they are still in.

I'm thinking of just ordering the items from BeHappy instead since I recently found them on their webpage. Are all99's shipping cost better than BeHappy's or are they comparable?

I think BeHappys postages are kind of high. One of my friends ordered from them items worth of 20€ and the postages were 29€! Then the items get stuck in the customs and she had to pay 11€ fee for the toll.

When I ordered this school-house from all9 with the beauty the foal I paid about 12€ for the postages.

My bigger BeHappy order (the one that is still on it's way...) would have cost 17€ to ship via airmail. I choosed the surfacemail (NOT WORTH IT!) and get some refund. It costed something like 12€ to ship the items via surface mail.

Eric, you should mail them again. I am sure Pearly has somehow forgotten to answer you (that happens to all of us!). Or maybe the mail has just lost on it's way. That happens too. emoticon Ofcourse you can also ask from behappy what your items would cost when shipped to US. And then decide.
