Truth about the Luxury Blue Pram!

Yet again there is a promo picture scam! emoticon

Image

I received a package today and finally got the Luxury Blue Pram-set. I had waited it as I have already sold the pram that came with Connor and Kerri-set. I never liked that ugly shade of purplepink and I was excited as there was this new release of the pram that promised us wonderful combination of blue and silver.

The problem is: THERE IS NO SILVER! The frame and wheels of the pram are the usualy brown wood colour just like the Burgundy Double Pram's parts.

I am kind of dissapointed emoticon The blue colour is better than purple, but I would have loved the silver parts. Maybe I should paint them like duckpuddle did.

The little toys are the same, but with slightly different colours: the bear rattles' shirt is painted pink instead of yellow and the car toy has blue wheels instead of green <- I am comparing them to the toys that came with the Connor and Kerri-set.

I will post pictures later. I just wanted to warn you right away!

Thanks for the warning, Toukkero. I would have only been insterested in this set because of the silver as I'm a sucker for silver.

I actually kind of like the purple-y pram. I like the blue too. I can't imagine it will brown instead of silver. Any chance for a picture?

Here is a picture of the pram and the toys:

At the background there is the package where you can see that the cover pictures is same as the promo picture, but with wooden (or golden?) parts.

Sorry for the bad quality emoticon I have broken my spotlight too so I can't take pictures inside a roombox... -_-

Definitely not as nice as the promo picture. The white on the cover really stands out.

For comparison's sake here's my pram:

I like the look of that still :-) I was thinking of buying a pram at some point.

Addictive this, isn't it? emoticon

There was an older pram which I have, it's blue and has silver wheels. The only difference is that it has a floral hood, which to me always looked a bit out of place.
I'm wondering if they used this older pram for the photo but with a different hood.

I have the older pram, also, with the silver wheels.

Here's a picture of the blue pram and the red pram from the Nanny Timbertop and Baby Timothy Set for comparison.

And a picture of the pink pram and the classic green pram.

The new luxury blue pram is bigger than the old blue one. It's the same size as the pink pram. I wouldn't mind adding this new one to my collection because it's different. The hood is different, the size is different, and even the design is different.

The new prams that are for 2 babies - Has the pram a permanent divider in the pram so you have to put 2 babies in it or can it be used for one baby only say lying down?

The pink/purple pram has a padded divider that is shaped kind of like an upside letter "T." One baby sits in front and one behind. The pad can be lain flat so one (or still two) babies could fit in the pram without a padded divider between them.

The pad can also be completely removed from the pram but it looks pretty silly without it in there. Not silly. Bad. Incomplete. Plastic-y.
