Hazelnut Dormouse Family (Flair Ref. No. 4469)
When Sylvanian City USA was closing (moment of silence), my wife and I choose to pick up the Hazelnut Dormouse Family. They really weren't a family we were looking at, but something pulled me in, and when we received them, we loved them.
There's something very "classic" or "old-school" Sylvanian about the Dormouse family. Their mold, although different, reminds me a lot of the original mouse mold. This walk-down-Memory-Lane was comforting with a newer release. I love the little black tip on their tails!
The clothing that the family wears is nice. The brother's overalls matching the father's shirt is fun, and the mother's dress is pretty unique.
In my Sylvanian town, Orchard's Keep, they are an immigrant family with heavy Dutch accents. For their looks, they are a family that stands out and that background that I added came so naturally to me based on those looks that they really became a stand-out and important family in our collection.

Thanks for the review ... I think they will shortly joining my little world!
I agree, they look like the original Thistlethorn mice - i prefer the old style mouse shape.
