More Rinkya! And other stuff...
I'm very excited... I bid for, and won the JP Urban Life Pink Corner House on Rinkya today. Have wanted it for such a long time so I'm really happy! It was expensive but worth it.
I'm seriously thinking of setting up my own fan site as well. I don't have room to display my collection at the moment so it would be great to be able to see them without the whole unpacking/packing thing! Also, lots of you fellow forum members have awesome sites which I look at all the time, so it would be good for you to see the figures and buildings I love so much.

Its a apanese auction site. You need a bid agent to bid from outside of Japan.

Re: More Rinkya! And other stuff...
I will try and take some photos this weekend and post them, and also investigate setting up a website.
The Pink House is gorgeous!
Jacc has a picture of it:

I've only just started using Rinkya and have bought a couple of things - the JP Dream Project Moles, a JP mailbox, an early cottage with a red roof and bay windows (I have never seen one before or on any fan site), the Urban Life Grey Cats and of course, the Pink House. I've found it quite easy to use, although the stuff I want is usually really expensive. It's really easy to set up an account and get started but it can be a bit daunting at first if you're just used to Ebay.

Re: More Rinkya! And other stuff...
Hi
I have a few questions about Rinkya.
I saw there were a few people selling the kitchen restaurant which I'd really love to buy. I just love this building.
I don't speak japanese but I saw that most of the sellers on rinkya don't ship overseas (usually it's written in their profile).
How do you manage to get items from Rinkya then?
TheRockie, you mentioned the need of "a bidding agent". What's this?
I've never done any bidding on ebay, I just bought "buy now" items once so I'm not very familiar with this.
Thanks

Re: More Rinkya! And other stuff...
Rinkya IS the bidding agent. They'll bid on your behalf and ship the things to you for a comission.Rinkya is not a shop or an auction site, the things you're looking at come from Yahoo! Japan Auctions--Rinkya just has a good transator you can use to surf these auctions through their site.
There are other bidding services like Rinkya out there, and this site provides a pretty good (if kinda old) write up on some of the alternatives:
