CC 1457 Buckley Deer Family

I like this figure version better. I'll have to dig the JP version out but these look to have bigger eyes, and slender faces.
The big difference is the quality of clothing. The one that comes to mind is the mothers jacket, the fabric is cheaper.

I love the blue with the brown skin/fur color...but the biggest thing that keeps me from getting these is that the father does not have antlers. :C

These are really cute, I love my set. The sister is definitely one of my favourite figures, even amongst my adored rabbits :-)

I agree! I fell in love with ear adornments when I got the Wildflowers. She is just as beautiful but alot cheaper! emoticon

It is a little odd but I think some species of deer males do not have antlers. The Moss deer family scare me. They all look very angry to me. Except the cute as buttons babies!
But Moss antler's on a Buckleys body would be better.

I tried looking up Japanese deer to see if they are antler-less...they have them. I'm not sure what species they are supposed to be then! lol

I always thought they were inspired by those Nara Deer from Nara, the anicent capital of Japan.

Lol. Maybe Epoch was inspired by the Chinese Water Deer, they have no antlers, however have fang like teeth.
Or maybe the Buckleys and alike were created in January to April when most deer shed their antlers.

Good ideas, Rianne emoticon
I missed the antlers, too. I like if mother and father aren't the same, and at least their ears are different!

If the male deer of the Buckley family have solid brown ears and the female deer have brown tips with heart shaped inner ears, then the Buckley baby is a female despite wearing blue jumpers. emoticon
