2011 JP Charcoal Cats

I just got the newest Charcoal Cat Family and I love them!

I took pictures of the new cats with my older Charcoal cats for comparison. Here is a picture of the adults:

And the children:

To me, it looks like as if the baby girls are the same cats that just grew older into the sisters. The black tips are on the same side of their ears. Even their dresses are the same color.

They are lovely! Lucky you, Candy! The older Charcoal set (and rarer, and more expensive, ha!) seems to have better clothing, in my opinion. The over-all sense of style gives them a quiet dignity. I love the dad's striped shirt most.

Still, it's a treat for us new collectors to be able to own even just the second generation of Charcoal cats. I love cats and they would provide the much needed species variation in my Sylvanian town.

My charcoal cats are waiting for me- I will pick them up in December from a friend, but I have the CC triplets on hand already. They got here Thursday this week. If they're anything like the babies, I am head over heels in love! Ohhh, I will need doubles!

The fathers and baby boy are my favorites. I'm not really a fan of the way the mothers, sisters, and baby girls flocking patterns were done. They look kind of cheap to me.

Still, like Pinky said, it's neat to see a different version of a family. I really like your comparison photos, Candy.

Very nice pictures Candy! I love the generation picture. Even though I don't like the baby boy's green outfit, I still wish they had a bigger brother.
In the parent's photo the 2011 father looks taller?

I love my set! The only problem I have is that the fathers shirt and pants are connected.
