Forest Families birds
I finally picked up the parrots from the post office today, but it's too dark now to photograph them. I'll do that Saturday.
But instead I have a photo of my owl family which also arrived today! Aren't they lovely?

Re: Forest Families birds
I do have the small tree house but the SF owls are living there. So for the moment they are homeless...

Re: Forest Families birds
CastorFiber, I would buy some teddy bear eyes and use them for mum. But I'd replace the one she has too, so they match. There's a glass eye website here. Usually the teddy eyes come with a loop so they can be sewed on, but maybe if you very carefully poke a hole in the eye socket and stick that in it'll probably be quite stable, too.

Re: Forest Families birds
Cute birds! I love the bows on the boys. Please take more pictures, I want to see other angles of parrot fathers hat.
CastorFiber, check out this website:

I suspect these to be better eyes for owls. The regular eyes of mice etc have stud behind them, so owls probably have too. I'm going order regular eyes from there, but haven't gotten around it. Now I don't have the figure with the missing eye with me x_X
