Re: Doll of the year
Sophie is actually selling hers.
It's a reasonable price and good luck to anybody who bids. I got mine from rinkya for a lower price but mine is missing a numbered certificate. So this is excellent!

Re: Doll of the year
She's Willow16 on eBay from Canada and she always has amazing things for sale. Many rare things in mint condition. she usually has about 20 or so items up for auction at one time but she puts new things up every week.
I think someone said she was on the old forum but I don't know about now. I've gotten quite a few things from her.

Wow! It was finaly sold for $510 US! I watched the auction and the price went $300
up the very last seconds! I wonder what is the original price of the doll?

Re: Doll of the year
I saw that, too!
I don't think there was a retail price for this doll. She was only limited to 100 and I think there was a special drawing to get her.
The secondary market price varies on the demand for the Doll of the Year. I would say that $300 was the average price but I've seen her go for more or less.

Re: Doll of the year
My bid was for $375 and I got outbid in the last seconds at $510- so who won her? Oh well, there might one day be another opportunity for me. Congratulations to the winner!

Re: Doll of the year
Ehm, hi all, it was me!
I know it was a huge price and I'm really sorry Fleurielk to have bid with you , but The Doll of the Year has been the first tip on my wishlist for years, and I wanted her so much for the new JP part of my collection. Now thanks to my husband he said it could have been my 2013 Christmas, Birthday, and probably 2014 Christmas gift . So we bid and I'm so happy to have finally found her and I'd be so happy if I could share my happiness with you.
