New (sorta) collector from Australia
Hi everyone!
I'm North (or Ann. I answer to both). I'm in my mid-twenties and originally collected Sylvanian Families as a young child. Sadly, a house fire destroyed my collection about ten years ago.
Three weeks ago, however, I was walking past a toy store while I was on holiday and saw a family of Sylvanians that looked very like the grey cat family I'd had as a little girl. I had to have them and in that moment, I fell in love with Sylvanian families all over again.
So here I am, starting a collection all over again and feeling excited and a touch overwhelmed. *laugh*
I hope to get to know you all well as time goes on.

Welcome to the board, and most of all, Welcome To The Magical Word of Sylvanains! If you want another family, I've got a pretty cute brown dog one for trade/sale.

Welcome Ann! I hope you enjoy our company. House fire sounds indeed terrible way to loose things, but it's good to hear you are excited of Sylvanians again

Re: New (sorta) collector from Australia
Welcome North!
I'm a mid-20's collector too (though from how nutty I'm becoming one would think I'm an old lady )
I am so sorry you lost your Sylvanians to a fire! I lost my entire childhood collection of horse toys and horse and pony stories to a house fire so I know the deep disappointment it brings.
Hope you find a nice little place in our community, it's always lovely to have a new collector join us, better still is they stick with us
And yes, pictures! We all love pictures!
