Re: This years knock offs ????
Very good work. You must have a very steady hand. Shame you had to leave it.

Re: This years knock offs ????
WoW! Such a great job!!!
I think it would be nice to get my hands on a bootleg home for baby, since he is now playing with my buildings and I will be putting them all in my display cases soon...
Can't think about letting him play with them in there though~

Re: This years knock offs ????
Wow I didn't know Silvan/Happy Family made houses too. These toy companies should come up with their own ideas an not copy other successful products. Plus it really does confuse eBay buyers that are just starting out because they come up in the search. I don't think eBay should allow the name Sylvanian or Calico Critters to be in the title or description of these products. It makes me mad that they list them with SF and CC.
I don't mind Lil Woodzies because at least they're a little different and it doesn't seem like there are hundreds of sellers trying to pass them off as SF/CC.

Re: This years knock offs ????
Wow that Willow hall "alike" looks great all painted up.
I had not thought about decorating the little conservatory - at the time I was looking for it I was totally focused on Sylvanians and adding to my collection and had not yet begun to set up my display or personalise at all.
Wish I had kept it now and wallpapered it - I can just see a stack on top of each other as mini apartments for the busy urban sylvanian !!

Duckpuddle: Aw, don't rush yourself! I know EXACTLY what it's like to have a project and not be able to get to it...or have the enthusiasm for it
Right now, as a matter of fact, I've been sitting on a small bust of a military figure someone wants me to paint....I've had it for almost 5 months now *sheepish grin* I just can't get motivated for it! LOL
