I agree, and one thing Ive come to realise about you, your postage is definitely the cheapest! Not sure how you do it or if others take chances or if it varies in which area you live, so dont let anyone ever tell you your postage is too high!

Re: My Ebay Auctions

I can't get my head around people who bid on stuff and then aren't prepared to pay for it.
Whatever happened to "my word is my bond"
There must be a lot of people that don't even respect themselves as well as others.
Or am I that much of a relic that I don't fit in "society" anymore. (Rant over) emoticon

I agree 100% and I feel people like that are selfish, as they take away my opportunity as fellow bidder (who can afford it) to get the item, as well as towards the seller who has to relist or go through all the trouble as Sarah and Hayley have.

Re: My Ebay Auctions

totally agree. the person that won my item still hasnt paid. i checked their feedback and looked at the dates. they have been buying things in the last week or so as they have left feedback for others and also got feedback from others. i have sent two invoices and emailed them but nothing so they must be ignoring me! they bid just before it ended too, so why not pay!

Open a resolution case Kirsty Corntop, and Ebay will chase them up. That is why when I used to sell stuff I used to stipulate that contact should be made within three days.

Re: My Ebay Auctions

Even with this topic as a good warning, I did something stupid on eBay just a minute ago X_X I saw something interesting in there, and asked the seller about shipping to Finland - she nicely thanked for my interest, but she only ships to UK. I almost forgot about it, and had my eye on other auctions. But today I got an email that the auction is ending. When I watched the last minute of the auction, nobody else had bid on it! So I tried. I usually get a red message, that I can't bid. Stupid to bid, if you think you can't. But now it got through O___O I don't understand how!

Well, I contacted the seller right away, offered to pay (if she finds out the postage costs), and asked if she wants to use other options. I'm willing to buy the item, but I hope my country isn't too much trouble for her =/

Re: My Ebay Auctions

Suvi, that has happened to me to once! Ive bid on an item and it went through and usually it doesnt. I didnt ask the seller beforehand, as I thought if it went through he will be willing to post otherwise he would have blocked the bidding. He was very upset and not very nice to me, lol, but I told him that I was willing to pay, but he wasnt interested. It was a tough lesson to learn, but now I always ask.

Hope yours work out!

Re: My Ebay Auctions

Thanks for support Eaton emoticon I looked through eBay help, and apparently it's about settings: 'You only get blocked if a seller sets blocks, as opposed to just excluding your country from his shipping list.' So I have to be extra careful with shipping destinations. Stupid of me to bid, when it's not shipped here x_x

No I wonder my options. The seller hasn't replied in 24 hours, so I don't know if she cooperates. If I do nothing and she doesn't reply, nothing happens. She can open an agreement to cancel the agreement, so she gets her final value fees back. But she can file a non-payment against me, and I get a strike. Or I can pay for the item, if she doesn't reply or ship, I can get refund through 'item not received' case. Somewhat confusing, so I guess I wait over weekend. I really hope this works out.
