How many owl families were released?
Treefellow and Plume?

Are these too the same?

Re: Owls

No, the Plume family is not the same as the "Mooney" family. The Mooneys are purer white than the Plumes and their clothes are a bit different.

There are three different owl families: Treefellows, Plumes, and JP Dream Project White Owls (Mooneys).

But if you want to get techinical with versions, there are the 80's JP Treefellow owls with brown/gray eyes, UK/US Treefellow owls with amber eyes, Flair Treefellow owls with darker gray flocking, Flair Plume owls, and the JP Dream Project White Owls. I think that's it.

I'm less familiar with Sylvanians than Eaton, but I'm totally into the last paragraph! The darker grey flocking has always looked best to me, and I finally know why there are different shades of grey! (Hayleys gray is my grey? Are they pronounced the same way?)

Re: Owls

I didn't realize there was a Mooney Family. I always thought they were the same as the Plume Owls too. I've never really looked at the JP Dream Project line. All I know about them is that they are very expensive.

I just love that bio's and surnames that Wendy made up and yes I really thought the "Mooneys" and Plumes were the same too. Never too old to learn about SF. Love it.

Re: Owls

Hi all I was lucky to get the Mooney family from Beverly's sale and now I have all 3 sets. But no box for the plume owls as I was let down on a trade so if any one has an empty Tomy owl box let me know I will buy or trade with you
