Seller Recommendations

Thanks to kittycat78 for inadvertently suggesting this idea. ^_^

Had a positive experience with a seller on eBay or another auction site? Had a negative one and want to warn others about it? Post your recommendations here!

I hope to comment here [sign in to see URL] am still waiting for my many purchases to come!!

I will say that the items I got from angelsmiles came SUPER duper fast so I was pleased, but for the most part anything she has that is available elsewhere, is much cheaper elsewhere.

Shanta (bluue78 on Ebay) is always lovely to work with. She's selling some of her collection at the moment. Her comms and posting is brilliant. Would recommend buying whilst she still has stuff left.

Angel Smile is also really sweet to work with and everything is always so well packaged. Never had any problems with her. Definitely recommended.

I don't know if anyone here has tried [sign in to see URL], but I would highly recommend it. If you're looking for high street Sylvanians, you can often find them here reduced in price.

If you have an Amazon Prime account such as myself you will get your items next day in most cases, which is great for impatient people like me!

Re: Seller Recommendations

Hi everyone!

I've bought from [sign in to see URL] in the UK and they're great.

I've also bought from [sign in to see URL] here in Australia and they fantastic.

I have bought from [sign in to see URL] before but they sent me the wrong order once and will only credit me for future purchases even though by law here in Australia, they should have given me the option of crediting me for the postage I spent to send them back the wrong items. But overall they're still pretty good in terms of service.

Lately I've just bought from [sign in to see URL] and had really slow response from them after I ordered. Finally when they replied, they informed me that one of the items I ordered is out of stock (but their site still allows people to purchase it and doesn't show "sold out" sign). I'm annoyed because I've already paid for the items and extra in postage for the item that's sold out.

They suggested I swap for something else but I don't want anything else there. I'm hoping to get a refund on the item and postage or wait for the item to get back in stock if the wait isn't too long.

I'm quite disappointed with tamaboutique because what I ordered was also meant to be a birthday present for my sister emoticon

Well I like thebeetlethatdances (eBay). She makes clothes for the Sylvanians. Unfortunatley there will be no products for awhile.

I recommend SSK-shop!!!

I just placed an order and I got information that I can pay via Paypal! Yay emoticon

AND! I asked can I have a discount for the shipping fees (to Finland) because the prices already include postals inside UK. They replied:

quote:

Our online store prices include standard UK delivery, so your shipping quote will include just the price necessary for upgrading your postage from UK delivery to overseas.

The postal sharges are what they are, but atleast they don't mean to rip us off... And I don't think they are that bad after all. My order for 14 items (mostly twin-sets, few families, club joining present and one accessory-set) costed 11,5£.
Less than 1£ each...

That's great to hear, I used to pay with a cheque (15 euro extra costs, stupid bank), because I don't want to send my credit card information by e-mail.

My brother told me that it's a bit risky sending credit card info via e-mail.

I'm trying to learn how to use paypal. Boy, everything sounds so complicated. I have never purchase goods from overseas before. I hope paypal is easy to use.

I had a look at SylvanianCity - and most of the items are out of stock and they don't have the ones I wanted.
