Re: Wendy's Figure Shoppe , MAY 07 ! Pre & Post Dicussion !
If you stay collecting for a few years you will catch up no problem! Im getting to the point where all I need is the harder to get items, Im starting my UK current list now once that is done... it will be all older figures i need, I collect Mainly Familys, they are my priority! than the individuals/sets that I see that I just HAVE to have.

Aloraal,
Wow! Your collection is huge
I did a quick count of the figures I have listed on my website - 172 or so. I have a few families waiting to be catalogued in their boxes on the floor of my home office/studio. And there are a few more coming from JP and AU.
I won't ever catch up to you. I just want to get to the point where I can make some videos once everything I've ordered in the last several weeks gets properly catalogued, sorted, and stored - at least temporarily
I must say you're collecting really fast ! It took me til my 5th year of collecting til I reached about 170+ .
I am collecting mostly UK items now , I collected most of current JP range . If you ask me you're really at a good position and the fact that you can get CC items directly is another advantage !

Aloraal, congrats on getting the cat older sister! I was drooling over her but I could not afford her this time. Congrats! She's purdy.
Let's see... I'm getting the US Slydale father to complete my family, the Dappledawn mom and Chocolat mom. Bunny moms are adorable!

I was very good & resisted the urge to buy anything I got made redundant a few months ago & am having a hard time finding a new job, so no splurging for me

Re: Wendy's Figure Shoppe , MAY 07 ! Pre & Post Dicussion !
Wendy´s list was absolutly fantastic but i have bought way to many figures in Febuary and March so no shopping spree for me this time around.
Maybe i will reach the big 1000 this year
there are so many new figures i want,i will need 115 more figures, and i still have many old JP old UK Tomy and some from the current Flair collection that i need.

Re: Wendy's Figure Shoppe , MAY 07 ! Pre & Post Dicussion !
I still have what feels like a million figures to collect. I know it isn't that many though. I totally wish there was a total checklist of every variant figure made. I know there's the one on Wendy's site, but I've got most of the list she's made now. Its the harder and more expensive figures I now need
I've had the JP Mace Mouse Grandmother from this list

Compared to the number of figures and accessories that come out of JP and UK, the US CC market is small, IMO. I'd much rather have easy access to the UK market than the US market, though there is one US eBay store that gets a variety of UK, JP and sometimes EU items.
Plus, I'm not what I'd consider a "true" collector who has to have all the variations on each family or figure. Nor do I need collect families from the 80s, for instance.

Same here. I used to have some families from the 80s but I've sold most of them and will sell the rest as soon as possible. I like new families better I must admit.
Besides, I'm not collecting all families either. I mostly focus on a few favourite ones (Huckleberries, new Slydales and Renards) and try and get all variants to them. I've almost them all. Yay! Other than that I only buy figures I particularly like (mostly mothers).

Re: Wendy's Figure Shoppe , MAY 07 ! Pre & Post Dicussion !
I collect mainly familys from all ranges but I agree with Lostmymarblz I would much rather be closer to the UK collection as they have like double the items that we have in the CC line if not more, + you have the Sylvanian Shop in the UK! someone needs to put one in the Mall of America! Than I would be happy.
