Soyokaze Family

I was checking out the Grinpa website and found the Soyokaze Family. Are they available? I tried to find out more via translater but couldnt find anymore info. other than bios. I've seen the theme park released older sister who is similar to the sister minus the purse. And the baby in a theme park set (different outfit).

On a side note, why does it say runboard ping to the left of the photos?

Ooooh, i think i could definately squeeze a bit of room in my collection for those!!!! emoticon

I like the way that the pink in their ears is in the same shape as the muzzles on the wildflowers and garden rabbits.

Are they basically the cat equivalent of the wildflower rabbits then in terms of where you can get them etc???

Yup, I saw them when I was at Grinpa last fall. They were released in 2009, at least that was what the info sticker below them said. I asked the staff there if they still had any stock of them, they didn't. They did had the Sister and Baby though. The baby came with the Wildflower baby in the theme park pair. They're called the Village Cat Family.

Heres the picture, I took of it at the theme park,

And the sister I bought from the theme park,

The baby in the Soyokaze Family photo looks different than the baby in the Theme Park Baby Pair. I'm surprised and excited to see the other members of this family, though. I wonder if the Mother, Father, Brother and Baby have not yet been released, but are only prototypes?

Can anyone tell, why the Soyokaze cats are now at the main page of the theme park site? Are they available now there?

They look really awsome. Usually I don't like those theme park figures that much. But these figures are more realistic.

Hi Toukkero,

Grinpa is the original Theme Park with the Wildflower Rabbits. It's located at the base of Mount Fuji.

There is a second Theme Park in Fukuoko Prefecture (located in southern Japan) that has the Soyokaze Cats. It opened 2 or 3 or 4 years ago. I've been looking for the website since my last post, but can't seem to find it.

Oh! I LOVE them!
I really hope they are prototypes and will be soon available.
Is it strange because I had never seen them before, except the sister and another baby.

Hi Beverly,

Just a little error there, the Village Cat Family or Soyokaze Cats are sold in Grinpa. They came out for the 5th Anniversary of the park in 2009.

The other the theme park is the Sylvanian Gardens which is within the much larger Kashiikaen(香椎花園), which is a park. The park is in Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture, north of the city centre. The Offical family is the Tulip Rabbits

Here is the website, http://www.nishitetsu.co.jp/kashiikaen/sylvanian/default.htm
